The Fernley Rotary Foundation's mission is to assist the non-profits, public schools, and youth organizations that make a positive difference in the lives of our community members.
For example, our foundation assited in the rebuilding of the Head Start facility that was destroyed in the Fernley Flood. We annually sponsor middle school and high school students attendance at Rotary leadership camps. We sponsor local children's athletic programs. Since our club's inception in 2006, we have provided dictionaries to Fernley third grade students. We have donated countless books to our local library. We have spearheaded clean-up programs during Rotary International's "Rotarians at Work Day." In 2010, we launched The Backpack Food Program, which continues to fight weekend hunger in our schools.
Help us keep doing the good that we do in our community.
Our annual "Benefit Golf Classic" is an inportant part of our fundraising. This tournament, together with donations from individuals and corporations, and our annual raffle, enable us to support vital programs that serve the Fernley community, such as The Boys & Girls Club of Fernley and our club's Backpack Food Program.
